Mireia has lived in Madrid since 2001 working from there with people all around the world as creative consultant / art director, freelance illustrator, graphic designer and a full time visual artist.

She was born in Mexico City and grew up in the cultural Coyoacán environment as the eldest child of a professor’s marriage. At the age of twelve she was singing and playing the violin in England witn a music school group tour.

Degree in Architecture from the National U. of Mexico.
An Erasmus at the University of Texas.
Volunteered at the North Dakota Museum of Art for a while.

Fine arts background including photography; her work has been shown - both collective and solo exhibitions - in Barcelona, Madrid, Toulouse, Lisbon, Mexico City and New York.

Five years experience as a corporate international project manager consultant where she implemented her organizational performance dimensions.

Her abilities and skills go from all kinds of traditional media to the current digital sources: acrylic, watercolour, mix media, gauche, charcoal, ink, pencils, freehand, illustrator, coreldraw, photoshop, adobe lightroom, flash, dreamweaver, quarkxpress.
